Spode Woodland Turkey 12-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The dinnerware is beautiful. The problem is that the dinner plates DO NOT have the Turkey on them. The dinner plates are of the Delamere pattern, which has the same brown border but nothing in the center. The salad plates and the mugs have the turkey emblem. The description states that each plate has the turkey on it. Spode does make the dinner plates with the turkey. I decided to keep the set because it was a great deal at the time and I can put the salad plate inside the dinner and it looks great or I can use the dinner plates at other times.

Spode Woodland Turkey Rectangular Platter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This platter didn't look as good as I was expecting. It's ok, but not impressive enough to justify the price. I have some spode plates of the same type that I purchased years ago, and there is a difference in quality. I don't know if they changed the process they use to make the dishes, or what, but I was not as happy with this platter as I was with the plates.

Celebrate the cozy warm meals that accompany autumn's cool arrival with Spode's Woodland Turkey dinnerware pattern. A sumptuous traditional design awash in the earthy hues of fall, Woodland Turkey features a proud, plump bird with outspread plumage poised on the grounds of a country manor. The artistically rendered scene is striking from afar and impressive up close, with each feather, leaf, and blade of grass richly hued and realistically detailed. Set on high-quality earthenware, the motif is complemented by an ornate brown-on-white British Flowers border and a crisp white background. This large platter measures 17-1/2 inches by 11-1/2 inches and features a contoured rectangular shape. Ideal for a Thanksgiving table, it also works for everyday meals and parties throughout fall and winter. Spode's durable Imperialware is dishwasher- and microwave-safe.
