(More customer reviews)I have a dog with a thicker neck. for the last twelve years we've put a chain collar on her. but now she's gotten a little heavier soe it was time to invest in a new collar. I tried the ones that are half chain half nylon collar but they were too large. the plastic of the sunglo forms well to her neck and the ring in the center works well for both attaching a lead and for bending around her neck. I really haven't noticed the collar being "brighter" in the sunlight though.
