(More customer reviews)The one star is not for the cabinet itself but for Amazon's faulty advertisement which states this is a DVD cabinet. IT IS NOT!
DVDs DO NOT FIT IN THE SHELVES OF THIS CABINET!
This is a beautiful,well made piece of furniture. However, not even the slender Blue Ray or HD DVDs fit in its shelves.
I do not know why this is advertised as a DVD cabinet. IT IS NOT! Amazon screwed it up by advertising it as such!
I kept it because I needed CDs storage space and this cabinet is suitable for that. Although it can only store about 70 CDs.
Next time I will pay more attention to the info on the items dimensions instead of the advertising lines.

(More customer reviews)The thing that sold me on this, compared to other DVD holders, was its double 3-rings. I reveled at the idea of being able to take out the sleeves in the middle of the binder and putting them back in somewhere else - but as I started to load them up with DVDs, I started to notice how weak the rings actually were and how they had couldn't properly hold the 25 sleeves in each ring.... In order to actually flip through all the sleeves, I have to be patient and cautious, or else the rings will open on their own, from all the weight from the DVDs, and the sleeves will start to slip out. So that's not that fun. But the binder holds 400 - a lot of DVDs for a small price. I can deal with the rings so long as I know that they are safely inside the snug sleeves.
Oh, and with mine, I had to pop out some plastic pieces from each sleeve to actually fit the DVDs in, which I've never had to do in the past with other binders. So before going out and buying this, you might want to consider a smaller holder that is actually easier to use - but I already put all my DVDs in, so I'm stuck ;)
