It is from the newer collection of Johnson Brothers Old English Castles that is made in China and not in England. If you are a true collector that will matter to you. If you're just buying it for the looks~then it's a great piece.
I am collecting the authentic pieces and bought this as a back up if I need a second creamer or for flowers, etc. My authentic pieces are marked on the bottom very specifically and you will know if it is made in England or not.
