(More customer reviews)This is a wonderful picture of Mr. Lincoln. However ... the description "wearing a coat crafted for him by Brooks Brothers" is incorrect. In this picture, Mr. Lincoln is wearing a frock coat. Brooks Brothers made an overcoat for Mr. Lincoln's second inauguration.
The overcoat was made of boiled wool with a silk lining. It was unique in its design, as the lining was embellished with the design of an eagle, bearing streamers in its beak with the declaration, "One Country, One Destiny."
