(More customer reviews)This is a wonderfully constructed tote that can organize and hold all of your sewing machine needs. The handle and base (plastic parts) cannot handle being used. After just three trips to class the handle won't easily lift the full length and the base feet have cracked. One has completely broken off..So if you need this to get your sewing suppplies in and out of your closet- it works great - just don't travel with it..

Poly X 40 Embroidery Machine Thread 25 Spool Basic Colors Set Review

(More customer reviews)Not sure if there are other reviews out there for the Poly X thread, but thought I would toss in my two cents.
I have used nothing but Poly X since I started embroidering 6 years ago. I am an amateur and nowhere close to pro.
That said, I have found the thread to sew up well. I do have a needle threader on my machine and I use it. I find it hard to thread it with this thread otherwise (it kind of feathers out a bit on the end when I try to thread manually). However, that might be normal for all I know.
What I do know is that the price is right and the color lasts. One of my first projects was a shirt for my son that he loved and wore at least once a week for over 6 years until he finally admitted it was too small. The colors are still vibrant and the embroidery still looks fresh enough to make me happy.

(More customer reviews)The Little Gracie II Machine Quilting Frame is a marvelous, sturdy, easy to construct frame for home machine quilting. It takes time and patience but all parts are clearly labeled and it comes with both a guidebook and a DVD. Watch the DVD first to get a great overview. Now, The Janome part is another story: It is advertised in this package as the machine to use for quilting on this frame, which needs major clarification. It does not have a feed dog lowering feature so extra parts are needed which should come with the machine in order to make it work. There was only a straight foot and a hemmer in the Janome package (figure those for free form machine quilting??). The Janome site is not clear in reference to support; in fact when contacting them they told me to go to a local dealer. There are no other guidelines for use other than the basic plug it in, thread it booklet, no accessories information, etc. I would buy the Little Gracie II by itself and find myself another long-arm quilting machine if I had it to do over for purchase. However, the support from Amazon has been great in helping me obtain the foot needed to make this system work as it should have as advertised.

Oliso FF-500 Frisper Freshkeeper Vacuum Sealer with Reusable Bags Review

(More customer reviews)You'd really hope that a product like this would "just work." It seemed simple enough to start - line up the circles, close and let go. Yet in my first 10 attempts I only got it to work maybe 3 times. I was getting pretty annoyed by this point, so I talked with their support and found out all the things I was doing wrong. Basically to get it to work correctly I needed to put the bag smooth-side up, horizontally-oriented (I tried the corner circle a few times by putting the bag in diagonally - which apparently didn't cover a hole that it needs to to trigger the vacuum), watch for wrinkles near the air hole that might impede the suction (if there are some, pull them straight).
Now that I know what I'm doing I'm actually pretty happy with it! It's very compact, the ziploc-style bags are heavy-duty and reusable, and the vacuum seals are holding well. Overall, I'm giving it four stars because although it really is a great product, there are too many opportunities for users to make mistakes.
